According to Richard Smith The History of Rickenbacker Guitars (p. 239) there were just 3 Autumnglo (DK) 335F's shipped in 1958 with a further 5 being shipped in 1960. There were also another 6 in Fireglo (FG) shipped in 1960.

Two of the pots are stamped "137 930" (CTS, July 1959; one pot stamped "137 936" (CTS, September 1959) and the fourth pot has been replaced sometime after 1988 "R13788 3X" (CTS, August/September 1988). Inside the control cavity, written in black ink "Serial # 2V126" and also "High Bridge". There is a slight headstock crack (very old) on the treble-side behind the first fret. Also there is a 'seam' crack on on the bottom edge (hidden by the tailpiece). There is also a crack on the side of the treble horn. The serial number actually coresponds to 1958 - BUT this guitar probably left the factory sometime after September 1959.
