1961 Epiphone B4B Newport Bass.
The Epiphone equivalent of the Gibson EB-0 bass. This extremely rare 30 1/2 inch scale bass guitar weighs just 7.50 lbs. and has a solid mahogany body. One-piece mahogany neck with a thick profile, rosewood fretboard with 20 frets and pearl dot position markers. Single large black Gibson PAF humbucking pickup with a huge output of 31.60k. Original Gibson stud tailpiece. In excellent plus and totally original condition. Housed in a later (seventies) hardshell case. This is an extremely rare Epiphone model. We have only seen one other in over thirty years of collecting. This single-pickup Newport model is basically an Epiphone EB-0. An absolute must for any serious bass collector.
