On Site Services Offered

We offer these services to anyone who either just wants one guitar checked out to make sure that it has not been refinished or suffered any damage to it (such as a broken headstock or neck), or to the discerning client who has a highly valuable instrument or collection of instruments worthy of an insurance valuation and who would like to keep a lasting record of his guitar or collection. A special price could be arranged for a collection of guitars.

1.         A visual inspection of your guitar, an examination with an ultra-violet light 

            to check for any refinishing or damage to it, (such as a broken headstock 

            or neck) and a verbal opinion by David Brass.                                                              $100
 

2.         External photography of your guitar with between 10 – 20 high resolution 

            images put onto a disc.                                                                                              $500

3.         A full inspection of your guitar using an ultra-violet light to check for any 

            refinishing or damage to it (such as a broken headstock or neck). Careful dismantling,

            checking all components for originality, lubrication, re-assembly, re-string, set-up. 

            At this point we would inform you of any non-original parts and you would have 

            the choice of either replacing them or not. Any parts purchased by us are with 

            written consent of owner and supplied at cost with receipts supplied. A full written

            report with a valuation on Fretted Americana, Inc., headed paper.                                 $750

4.         a. A full inspection of your guitar using an ultra-violet light to check for any 

            refinishing or damage to it (such as a broken headstock or neck).

            b. Careful dismantling, checking all components for originality, lubrication, 

            re-assembly, re-string, set-up, and subtle cleaning of neck and external components. 

            At this point we would inform you of any non-original parts and you would have 

            the choice of either replacing them or not. Any parts purchased by us are with 

            written consent of owner and supplied at cost with receipts supplied.         

            c. Internal and external photography with between 20 – 40 high resolution images 

            put onto a disc.           

            d. A full written report with a valuation on Fretted Americana, Inc., headed

5.         DVD with video of your guitar being played by Phil X.                                                   $1,000
 

6.         Glossy coffee table book containing between 10 – 20 high resolution images 

            external photographs and dvd with video of your guitar being played by Phil X.              $1,750
                                                                                                                                            

7.         A full written report with a valuation on Fretted Americana, Inc., headed 

            paper, a dvd with a video of your guitar being played by the amazing Phil X, 

            between 20 – 40 full color internal and external photographs of your guitar 

            taken by our Creative Director, Dustin Jack -  all housed in a beautiful glossy                      

            coffee table book.                                                                                                     $2,000
